Time to talk about something different today. There are times when you need to learn other languages. Spanish is one of the popular languages in the world. Sometimes, when you are writing a story or a script, perhaps you are thinking of adding in some ‘spice’ into your story line. This is when other languages can help (especially when you are developing Spanish characters).
If you are not writing something related to Spanish, then perhaps you can just learn these are general knowledge. No harm in learning a different language.
Ten really simple words to learn:
1. lavadora (washing machine) – lavatory
2. microondas (microwave) – undulate
3. congelador (freezer) – to congeal
4. bebida (drink) – beverage
5. cana (small beer) – cane
6. copa (glass) – cup
7. manta (blanket) – mantle
8. vino (wine) – vineyard
9. tinto (red [wine]) – tincture
10. terraza (balcony) – terrace
