I received an email from Kayla, USA this morning.
She said,
“Hi Sarah, I have a question that I want to ask you. Are you banned from Digital Point. I saw your post in DP but your status is ‘banned’. What happened?”
Thanks for asking, Kayla.
Yes, I have been banned.
The reason? Multiple accounts. I swear that I have only ONE account but somehow they said I have ‘multiple accounts’ which until today I still feel weird. I am not sure what I have done wrong, but whatever it is, the ban is ‘forever’.
I never get any infractions at all and suddenly I am banned.
I have moved on, and so if you happened to see my account in DP, and wondering why I am banned, here is the reason: multiple accounts (which I did not commit).
I have been with DP not for a very long time but I get to participate in very useful discussion and therefore, I would thank DP (even though I get banned).
My advice?
Count yourself lucky if you are still ‘active’ in DP. Try to stay away from trouble.

I have seen a few threads today on dp where authors were banned. I was wondering why. This makes sense.
Same goes for Warrior Forum – that place is full of scammers who never get banned but legitimate marketers get banned if they ask them questions. There are loads of blogs about it. People being just as unfairly there as well.
Don't let it chew at you. They're all pond life!

You will be counted as double accounts if some other user logged into DP forum from your computer or internet connection. Poor DPF does not have a better way and thinks it is same person if the IP is same.
Due to this I gave up on DPF. They keep on giving infractions even unncessarily just to satisfy their ego. Now there are so many mods who are junk idiots that stayed on the site for years posting 1000s only to become mod and enjoy harassing other posters.
Once I posted a reply to a thread started by a user who got infraction and questioned it. I said that it is likely that some mods are showing ego. And one comes to show his ego and locked the thread. I posted about it in a new thread and some fight went on about that. Another good mod came to pacify but I concluded that it is not a forum for the user but only for the benefit of the admin who earns money and the mods who get their egos satisfied. I spent time at and benefit from other webmaster forums much more than DPF.
In essense, just don't waste your time at sites like DPF, Helium.com etc. where they give stringent rules when there are better less stringent sites available already. If you do not listen to this suggestion, then you will be in the same status even after a year (this happened to me in 2007, 2008).
