What is the most important element for an article?
The content?
Yes, the content is important but there is something else more important, the one thing that people read before moving on to the content.
The TITLE!
The title is what captures people attention first before the content.
Many times, we will browse through the titles while deciding whether to read the articles or not. Usually, if the titles are not interesting, we will pass. When there is something that catches our eyes, that is what we are looking for.
More people read the titles first before they read the content compared to people who read the titles and the content together.
So, we have to learn how to write titles that catch attention.

Hi Elena, Thanks for dropping by too.. I am glad that you find this useful..
I have to agree with you on the power of title. If content is to engage, title is to impress.
nice post. i’ve always felt the best titles should make a bold declaration in order to engage readers. many times, this means re-editing/rewriting the post to be less milquetoast… nowadays, i just start with the title, and write the post.

There are many techniques that lead to a good post. The title is obviously the first thing a person will see and an interesting or catchy title will encourage them to read on. Then one has to make sure that the reader is not disappointed by having a post that draws them in ever deeper, until they finally reach the end.
All going well, they will have consumed the article and though enough of it to leave a comment. Looks like you hit the right combination.
