Confronting the person helps in many cases–I have this issue all of the time….it is tiring to keep tracking them down, but important to keep up on it. I Google myself regularly, as many places will even reprint my articles with my byline–but without permission! Keep an eye out, and don't be shy about asking people to take your work down. It's your right.

Thanks BC, it is bad to have people copy and paste our work and use it as if they own it. You might want to consult with Johnathan from Plagiarism Today (refer comment no.1 from top) about plagiarism cases.
