It has been a long time since I checked my Triond account.
In fact, I think I have almost given up on Triond.
Triond is my first platform to earn passive income, followed by Bukisa.
After long hours of working on different projects, I decided to take a peek at my account and there was a surprise waiting for me.

I have been given 2 badges – something like a recognition. I felt so good seeing these badges, knowing that Triond has improved (moving forward).
Finally, something to motivate me!
The best part of all, I have $1.14 pending, to be paid on 10th September 2010. It is not much, but something I gain from practically doing nothing for Triond in the past six months.
It is time to be active on Triond once again.
Do you want to join Triond?

As Triond and Bukisa are my main sources of passive income, I am still active there. The little badges are looking nice as they show what we did and where we can go. I got 200k, 200 badges. They remind me to reach 500k, 500 badges soon.
My earnings at Triond (as I told earlier) have gone bad. They went down from $3 a day to current $1 a day. After adding Adsense they didn’t change, now I am getting little more through Adsense as well. That was one good thing at Triond.
But Bukisa is awesome. My earnings jumped from $0.6 a day to $1.0 a day after adding only few articles. That motivated me so much to continue at Bukisa.
What stops me from writing is the earnings reduction at Triond and lack of a clear plan to reach my writing goals.
I don’t know how you like passive income, but it is nice to see even $1 or $2 coming in every day without doing anything.
What are your Triond/Bukisa writing goals? Do you feel it is worth writing for them given that you are well off as a freelancer? How much target earnings would make you feel they are worth trying?
For me $15 a day goal is enough. It needs time to reach there.

I am not setting a goal (not now) because I write for fun (if I have the time) and publish on Triond, whenever I want. Triond is not a mainstream for me, so I wouldn’t spend too much time on it, although it would be fun writing and publishing on Triond from time to time. I spent a lot of time on Triond last year because I was building on my freelance writing career and when it took off, I have been focusing on my small business.
