Face it, you cannot satisfy every clients no matter how professional you are. It is not your fault of course, just that your clients are not happy with your work (that would be their problem). There are times when your clients are expecting something different which you fail to deliver.
You might think that your work is correct and excellent but it is not what your clients think.
How do you solve such as problem?
First of all you need to understand what you have failed to deliver. Understanding the problem brings you to finding the solutions.
Need more explanations?
Situation 1:
Mr Q wanted you to write about travelling to UK. You wrote the article but Mr Q didn’t like the quality of work. Something is just not right in the eyes of Mr Q but to you, the article is perfect.
So, talk to your clients when they hate your work. Ask them what is wrong and how you can improve your work. I am sure they will give you a chance to mend the article and shape it into what they need. If this doesn’t work, you might not lose the clients but you won’t get as many chances to write for them anymore.
Situation 2:
You have wrote an article but your client changed some parts of the article. Again something is not right.
You need to ask them why they change the content. Perhaps there is something wrong such as spellings or sentence structure. However, if you know that you have done the right thing, you need to stand by your idea or work. Let them know that you have proof that perhaps a spelling or sentence structure is correct. Provide the proof and hopefully they will understand.
Normally, this is something you find out naturally when you work especially when you have been in this field for a long time.
